SPACESHIP is a scottish produced short film, made predominantly by creative under 25s in the glasgow area.
a passion project, the goal of spaceship is to tell a touching, feelgood story, WITH HIGH PRODUCTION VALUE, emulatiNG 1980s hOLLYWOOD IN IT'S STYLE AND THEMES.
as young filmmakers living in scotland, we want to help show that great films can be homegrown, and tell all kinds of interesting, diverse stories, from social realism to escapist sci-fi. we hope that spaceship will find success in this regard, and inspire other young creatives in scotland to get out there and TELL their own stories, in whatever form that may be.

conor mcmahon - writer/director/producer
Born and raised in Glasgow, Conor recently completed three years of study The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland achieving a BA in Digital Film and Television. Since then working as a runner in the Film and Television industry in Scotland, he is proud to step his foot into writing and directing with his first film post film school, Spaceship.
emily dias-geoffroy - director of photography
Emily earned her BA in Digital Film and Television from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she spent her time specialising in cinematography. Having experienced camera operating, focus pulling and being a second camera assistant, Spaceship will be Emily’s debut as a cinematographer.
SIIRI KORHONEN - PRODUCTION AND COSTUME DESIGN
Siiri is a Glasgow-based Production designer, originally from Finland. She graduated with a ba in Production Arts and Design from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, majoring in Set and Costume Design.
She has designed several short films, and received the Royal Television Society Student Award in Production Design for the Conservatoire’s 2017 Graduation film; Antonio. Her latest set design was for an Edinburgh Napier University's short film, Eudaimonia, which was showcased at Glasgow Short Film festival 2018.
